On a car having service miles the front springs are considered too high or too low when the trim dimension shown at "A" in the figure is not within the following limits, with the car at curb weight.
	All models except 56C, 56R, 76C, 76R	3 3/4" - 4 1/4"
	Models 56C, 56R, 76C, 76R	3 1/2" - 4"

On a car having service miles the rear springs are considered to high or too low when the trim dimension shown at "A" in the figure is not within the following limits, with the car at curb weight.
	All models except 46C, 56C, 76C	5 1/2" - 6 1/4"
	Models 56C, 56R, 76C, 76R	5 5/8" - 6 3/8"
	All other Models	5 13/16" - 6 9/16"

NOTE: add 3/8" when checking a NEW car.
